Missions In India This Lord’s Day!

MasaFamilyThis Sunday we have a wonderful opportunity to benefit from the unity we have with brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world and in another country – India! Because of our “one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism” unity (Ephesians 4:4 – 5), we rejoice, weep, and worship with Christian brethren no matter where they are from if we are united in the truth of Jesus!

Emmanuel Masa and his family serve in ministry in India, with a unique outreach through the Emmanuel Boarding School and evangelism to tribal villages. In our worship service, he will be sharing from the Truth of God’s Word how the Spirit of Christ is using him to impact Indians for Christ. The Masa family is linked to GoServ Global (formerly Global Compassion Network), the organization with whom Zion went to Haiti.

From the GoServ Global website:

GoServ Global works with national pastors – Emmanuel and Sunny – who lead several projects in separate regions of India. These pastors work in some of the most persecuted states and neglected tribal villages in rural India.

They are working together on projects like the Emmanuel Boarding School or the Bethany Children’s House – a shelter/education facility that cares for over 50 children who come from abandonment, homes of parents who have died from diseases (such as HIV/AIDS and TB), or have lost a father to a mining accident. Zion has hosted one of these pastors in the past, in support of his DREAM INDIA non profit initiative.

Be praying for our brothers and sisters around the world, and get excited for worship this Sunday to learn how others are leaving all to take up their cross and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23)!
