Living As Christians After Orlando

rym_player_defaultOn June 11th, a man armed for death went into Pulse, a gay dance club, and killed fifty people, injuring scores more. In the aftermath, Americans reeled from the loss, inciting debates regarding terror, the LGBTQ community, gun control, and community violence. How should Christians respond to this violence? How should we treat the survivors and families of the victims? Many of these questions swirl around us in a bewildering fog.

Dr. R. C. Sproul wants to help cut through the confusion with some clarity from Scripture. His daily “Renewing Your Mind” radio program from Ligonier Ministries is going through The Pilgrim’s Progress, but they suspended broadcast to tackle this difficult subject. “A Christian Response to Terrorism” is the title of Dr. Sproul’s remarks, and we hope you’ll give it a listen. In his brief talk, Sproul addresses violence, terrorism, political war, the LGBTQ community, Islam, and how Christians can think about these dreadful events. Living in the Orlando area, these horrific events have affected Sproul’s own community.

May we live as Kingdom-people, in faithful devotion to our Lord and King!
