Sermon: Gift of Contentment from Philippians 4

In our sermon series “Advent 2014: Gifts From the Father” we look at the “inexpressible gift” (II Corinthians 9:15) of Jesus Christ, and how in Christ we have been blessed to receive gifts from our Father to be a blessing to others. With all the gifts we have, do you ever still struggle to be content? Whether it is in our material possessions, relationships, or life situations, everyone struggles to be content! That is why it is such good news that God sent us a contented Savior, who is working in us to grow contentment by grace through faith.
