On June 29, Tim Barnett will be speaking in north Iowa. Tim is an apologist and speaker with Stand to Reason (STR), an apologetics ministry dedicated to training Christians to think more clearly about their faith. Barnett will bring his exciting teaching and digital media resources to Christians and churches this summer.

Here’s a taste of Tim’s teaching:
Tim comes to Garner as a part of the Arise Bootcamp, an outreach for young adults to grow as disciples of Christ. Stand to Reason was last in north Iowa in 2013 when founder Greg Koukl spoke on apologetics and the sanctity of life.
Apologetics is the study of knowing how to defend the truth of the Bible from skeptics, doubters, and those who promote lies against Scripture. Ministries like STR help Christians to know what we believe and why we believe it.
Knowing how to defend your faith is very practical to today’s questions. Listen below as Tim fields questions that many Christians wonder about today:
Tim will be speaking to the Zion congregation on the uniqueness of Jesus in the Sunday morning service, he will explain how to help young people think clearly in today’s confused world in Sunday school, and then address Science, faith, and apologetics on Sunday night at 6:30 pm.
