Christians are not called to be lone-ranger spiritualists, but to be joined to the Body of Christ () and assemble in local congregations ().

Church Leadership

We are governed by our Consistory, made up of qualified men ordained to the offices of elder and deacon. Together with our minister, they are our under-shepherds as we follow the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

According to Scripture, elders give oversight and leadership to the spiritual needs of our congregation (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1; 1 Peter 5). Our deacons work together to make sure the physical needs of our covenant members are being addressed by God’s grace (Acts 6; Romans 12; 1 Timothy 3). Each officer serves a three year term.
