You Have Heard It Said: Wednesday Night Bible Study

Come join us at the Parsonage for our summer Bible study! We’ll meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for some fellowship, food ‘n’ fun, prayer, and Bible study.

This summer’s theme is “You Have Heard It Said,” and we’ll be considering common Christian sayings and comparing them with Scripture. We’ll look phrases like:

  • God helps those who help themselves
  • Its not a religion, its a relationship
  • Let go and let God
  • He’s a good person/They have a good heart
  • It is what it is/What will be will be

And so many more! Come join us!

Pray for our Youth Mission Trip

On Sunday, our youth group kids and two adult leaders set out for Milwaukee, WI to minister to people in urban areas of poverty and need. Won’t you consider setting aside some time each day to pray for them? If you need some ideas, consider the suggestions below.

Sunday: Safe travel to Milwaukee, and deep worship along the way
Monday: Camaraderie and working together with YouthWorks
Tuesday: New relationships with other youth groups
Wednesday: Milwaukee residents to see God’s love in our kids
Thursday: The Spirit’s power to open hearts and eyes
Friday: Joy from the experience, and travel mercies back to Garner

Let’s get praying!
